This became a very high profile case for several reasons. A mother out for her normal 40-50 mile ride on the SCT, a trail that stretches from Smyrna to Anniston, Al. The trail is mostly thought of as a safe place to exercise. The articles in the attachments tell the story. Jennifer Ewing has a memorial on the SCT just a ways out. Other ghost bikes are also farther out which I'll visit later on this journey!
