A Higher place!

There we were, my son in law, this bike, three days after placing another for Jason Young, 11 pm searching for a spot for my friends final ride. We were on a corner lot of a strip mall nearest to, by all reports, the crash site of Pastor David Fitzpatrick. Not many folks out this time of night either, but out of the blue, a gentleman in a truck drove up and said, "can I help you?" My heart rate settled a bit, I explained we were looking for a place for our friends ghost bike that might not get taken up by local officials. He said, "I own the car shop across the street, chain it to my fence and nobody can take it!" I was amazed that a person out of nowhere at 11 pm came up and was the temporary answer for my fallen friend! In passing weeks the family contacted the land owners nearest to the actual crash site and that is where this bike resides today! I've had situations like this quite often thru my 81+ ghost bike placements, I just felt on David Fitzpatrick anniversary I would share this with you! I'll ride with you soon my friend, thank you for standing your angels to help me place your final ride! Be safe all!
