I don't like seeing my friends on these kinds of rides, but if I/we can raise awareness and make our streets safer for everyone today and our kids tomorrow, then let's do it!! Don't wait for this to happen to someone you knew folks, get involved! My prayers for the Jason Young family and their friends. Please atttend the Decatur Ride of Silence on May 20 or a ROS somewhere! Thanks to Robert Wilhite and Pete Wicker for helping to organize this ride and Roswell Bicycles for hos
I received a message a young boy had been hit south of the Atl. Not knowing any of the circumstances, my heart sunk due to having been there, I began to pray for him and his family in hopes of not building another Ghost Bike. The tragic news came in shortly after...another friend needs a bike to ride home, sadly again I cry as I make my way to the stall to get a ride for my friend. Chandler Weems was taken home way too early and I'm not sure if there will ever be enough done
Many people have many excuses why I should never get back on my bike! I have 1 huge reason..It makes me feel awesome every time! I have over 20 reasons to organize the Ride of Silence in Decatur on May 20th, they're my friends and families of our fallen. They are searching for a voice to "speak up for their roads to be shared respectfully!" Won't you sign up to help speak for those that have been taken from us so tragically?
