RIP My Friend...

Several years ago I was searching the WWW for fallen cyclists in and around Ga to try and make sure I had all listed. I found this gentleman by reading a blog where his son was writing to him after the incident to let him know how sorry he was for not being able to at least say goodbye! From all the accounts that I found Paul McGhee was riding on the SCT and had stopped for a break. There on a bench he had a heart attack and passed away. I pray his son understands that his father is in a better place even though I'm sure he misses him dearly everyday. BFA placed a ghost bike on the SCT in his honor in hopes his son can visit him and chat by his final ride! RIP Paul, BFA will always remember, never forget you!
